Everdream Attracts Senior Executives to Lead Sales and Engineering Teams
FREMONT, Calif. Jan. 24, 2006 Everdream Corporation, the market leader in on-demand desktop management services, today announced the appointment of Mike Minelli as vice president of sales and service and Alex Balva as vice president of engineering. With a combined nearly 40 years of executive sales and information technology leadership experience, Minelli and Balva have proven track records of building world-class teams to drive industry leadership and accelerate customer acquisition. Balva and Minelli will report to Everdream president and CEO Mark Hoffman.

With nearly 20 years of enterprise software executive sales experience working with medium to large-sized enterprises, Minelli joins Everdream from Active Reasoning, a leading developer of policy-based data center management software. During his tenure, Minelli helped Active Reasoning achieve more than 400 percent revenue growth.
Previously, Minelli served as vice president of sales at Opsware, formerly LoudCloud, and E.piphany, Inc. He has also held management positions with Netscape Communications Corp., Collabra and Lotus. Minelli earned a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering from Miami University of Oxford, Ohio.
In an accomplished career spanning more than fifteen years, Balva brings software design, development, and management experience to Everdream along with twelve years of experience in business automation for the enterprise and mid-size markets. Prior to joining Everdream, Balva served as vice president of product development for Airframe Business Software, a provider of software-as-a-service applications for the SMB and enterprise markets. Before Airframe, he served as chief software architect for the Exigen Group, where he led the delivery of an automation and cost reduction solution for Electronic Data Systems (EDS).
In addition, Balva held a senior-level I.T. positions with Genesys Telecommunication Laboratories. He holds a master's degree in computer science from Kiev Technical University and was a Ph.D. student for two years prior to relocating to the U.S.
